Maldăr’s Mansion / Măldărești

 Location

Our domain, located near Horezu, at the foot of Măgura Slătioara from Măldărești, opens the gates of an authentic cula, in which stories of ladies and heroes unfold from any corner.

Restaurant: Our menus are inspired by the boyar’s feasts – real foil meals, in layers and stages: from the delicious hors d’oeuvres to the main course, the tea ritual with homemade cakes, but also the “coffee treat”, as it was done long ago the boyar’s coffee shop. The property also offers: conference room, outdoor pool, children’s playground, free parking, free wi-fi.

Rooms

Each of the mansion’s 18 rooms has its own story, encrusted in charming details: authentic historical furniture, traditional barks and carpets, dowry boxes and starched cloths. The rooms of the mansion are fairytale rooms named after ancient characters. Each room is a refined ensemble, in which the authentic historical furniture, the old beams and the traditional carpets are harmoniously combined with the most modern comfort details. At the mansion, the meal is organized “as before”, next to the fireplace, with elegant cutlery and candlesticks, soft light and music with a whip.
